An opportunity has arisen to join the Technical Training team, working as a Training Instructor. This position will report into the Manager, Aftersales Customer Care and Training.

A Training Instructor primary role is to deliver technical training courses to the EME dealers and distributors network. This must be delivered in line with the brands curriculum, and certification program. The Technical training instructor will also support all the necessary training linked to Technical Service activities.

The Technical Training Instructor will also need to work in partnership with the factory training lead in order to calculate/monitor dealer demand for technical training in the markets they are responsible for and then planning courses accordingly, to achieve the training revenues and the training demands.



Your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Strategic delivery of technical training courses for the EME dealer and distributor markets – Deliver practical and classroom based training courses in a professional manner, whilst complying with all relevant health and safety legislation:
    • Courses are delivered in a professional and interactive manner
    • Provide attendees with course material in line with brand standards
    • Training courses are delivered in line with expectations
  • Working with brand/factory leads to ensure delivery of the following:
    • Curriculums
    • Course structure
    • Material creation
    • Accreditation
    • Courses plan
    • Satisfactory level objectives
    • Resource management and KPI reporting
    • Budget planning and reporting
    • Training Revenues objectives
  • Deliver technical training to AGCO personnel including but not limited to:
    • Field service
    • Technical Assistance Group
  • Interface and represent AGCO technical training internally and externally
    • Internally to include but not limited to:
      • AGCO Academy
      • Dealer Development and Dealer Distribution
    • Externally to include but not limited to:
      • Market specific government bodies where appropriate
      • Market specific professional bodies



Candidates should have:

  • Technical understanding of agricultural machinery
  • Fluently English. French and German languages an advantage.
  • Experience of didactic / educational related training delivery
  • Ability to travel for the role – approx. 20% of time will be spent training outside UK.
