We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as our 1st shift Production Supervisor. This position’s role is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process in all areas of production, including the oversight of employees.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the quality and efficiency of product assembled or packaged in their area

• Provides immediate supervision & leadership to employees

• Analyzes and resolves problems in defined areas and demonstrates solid knowledge of processes and procedures

• Ensure that the schedule provided to them by the Production Manager is followed. Has primary responsibility for accurate reporting of completed work orders

• Will spend a portion of time performing hands-on & supervisory job functions

• Collaborates with the Production Manager in formulating and administering procedures and processes for the various tasks within the department

• Responsible for bringing parts availability issues to the attention of the Production manager

• Ensure that all cycle times are accurate for the various jobs by properly utilizing the p-track system

• Partner with Production Manager to ensure team members are receiving clear & concise communication

• Provide primary training of new staff and the development of Team Leaders

• Complete employee yearly reviews

• Work with team on continuous improvement for the various jobs within the department

• Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are being followed

• Work with Production Manager in scheduling staff

• Partner with Production Planners to set priorities for job schedule

• Responsible for releasing work orders to the floor

• Reports to Production Manager and performs other duties as required

• 3 plus years of experience in Production & Manufacturing and/or Supervision in other related industries.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2 year degree, preferred

• Experience in GP ERP System and SCALE WMS System, preferred

• Ability to work nonstandard hours

• Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal with all levels of the organization

• Excellent problem solving skills
