Precision Planting Commercial Agronomist (Ukraine)

Position Overview:

Precision Planting is a leading provider of planting and harvest technology in the Precision Ag Industry. We design innovative products that solve yield-robbing issues for farmers. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Commercial Agronomist (Precision Planting) in Ukraine. This individual will work remotely in the territory. The Commercial Agronomist is responsible for conducting agronomic research and being a key educator for the Precision Planting team, dealers, and farmer customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learn and validate the agronomic issues facing farmers in Ukraine
  • Responsible for setting up and executing plot protocols for general agronomic education (singulation, downforce, depth, hybrids, population, nitrogen, etc.)
  • Operate a plot planter during planting season to help validate new equipment solutions locally.
  • Collaborate with Precision Planting’s R&D Agronomy team regarding design concepts based on detailed field testing.
  • 编译、分析ze, and report on test plots and field data to the marketing department and R&D.

• Educate the distribution channel and customers on the agronomic yield-robbing scenarios and how they can overcome them.
  • Responsible for sharing agronomic research via public speaking events throughout the course of the year.
  • Provide agronomic expertise to educate the Precision Planting commercial team on the benefits and applications of existing and new Precision Planting technologies.

Other Responsibilities:

• Fluent with the latest advances and innovations in Ag Technology.
• Travel can range from 25% to 50% based on the season.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors in Agriculture or related field
• 5+ years of experienceof in-field agronomy
• Languages: Ukrainian, English (fluent)
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate and present to large groups.
• Strong writing skills. Evidence of creativity.
• Positive Attitude & Highly Motivated
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Flexible to adapt as priorities change
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, G-mail, & Google docs.
