As theHR Representativeat ourJackson, MNlocation you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a team of HR professionals. This position will coordinate and manage exempt/non-exempt employee recruiting & selection initiatives and support the mission of the Human Resources Department through employee relations-related activities like turnover analysis, staffing cycle-time, cost per/hire, employee engagement survey results and follow-up and LMS training metrics.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate exempt and hourly hiring to meet organizational needs
  • Assist with recruiting events, advertising and

  • Schedule and conduct interviews and coordinate pre-employment testing
  • Track and maintain metrics related to hiring
  • Drive performance management effort including reviews, discipline, counseling, terminations
  • Handle Employee Relations tasks as needed
  • Serve as Policy resource for supervisors and employees
  • Serve as technical benefits resource for employee’s and their benefits
  • Identify, assess and implement continuous improvement activities in HR
  • Drive improvements in Safety as opportunities arise
  • Misc. HR duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1-3+ years HR experience in HR preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing desired
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
