As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for mechanical design of products from concept, development, field installation, production launch and service.

Your Impact

Product Design

• Communicate with Team Leader, Engineering Manager and Product Manager to understand and verify product requirements and cost targets.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineer/Quality Associate for manufacturing documentation
• Customer interface and feedback of key features

• Analyze and identify risks
• Computer based design and simulation
  Production readiness

• Gain manufacturing inputs during Lean design activities
• Mitigate production issues through engineering and product managers
• Collaborate with ME/QA to assure successful manufacturing launch.
• Support tech services
  
  Your Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering
• 1 to 3 years experience
• An agricultural background or experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Creo 3D is a definite plus.
• Fan & ventilation design experience a plus
• Burner & fuel pipetrain design experience a plus
• Building code knowledge and structural design experience a plus
• Experience level to be considered based on the individual qualifications and background.
• Ability to work with a cross functional team.
