SMART IMPACT:Corporate Social Responsibility

At AGCO, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a core business imperative that underscores our strategy to build a more valuable enterprise. Our approach to long-term economic, social and environmental sustainability aligns with our corporate vision to help farmers feed the world. To achieve that vision, we seek innovative ways to address many of the world’s most significant challenges, including food security, farmer livelihood and resource efficiency.

CSR Along the Supply Chain

AGCO has the broadest agriculture offering in the world. Our social responsibility efforts are actively involved in virtually every aspect of the agriculture supply chain, as we seek to increase food security and extend our positive impact beyond those communities where we operate.

TRAIT – AGCO’s Approach to Diversity & Inclusion

TRAIT is AGCO’s global Diversity and Inclusion initiative, enabling a culture of inclusion that cultivates innovation and leverages our unique perspectives and experiences to inspire organizational excellence. TRAIT is a distinctive aspect of AGCO’s culture that helps us to attract and retain top talent and generate innovative solutions while providing world-class agricultural products to our customers.

Our TRAIT framework focuses on four comprehensive areas that establish a 360° diversity approach: Human Capital, Community, Markets, and Supply Chain. Our efforts in these areas are resulting in external recognition. AGCO Power Production Manager Jane Song was honored with a STEP Ahead award for her contributions to the manufacturing industry, and AGCO’s European operations were named one of the金融时报》Diversity Leaders for promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Internally, important training efforts are underway across the global organization and more than 2,250 people managers will be trained in 2019 and 2020 on “Creating an Inclusive Environment.” We also launched the TRAIT Ambassador Program to enlist global advocates to drive our TRAIT objectives in each region and provide valuable input in guiding our evolving efforts.
